11:17 pm
at the white house yesterday with us for a look at her and said while i remember it when we were working together and you are pregnant. her youngest daughter is now 15 years old. i was like wow, time passes but it is such a privilege to be here. it's just in such an extraordinary job hunt so great to be here with you. the newly created historic white house state office open office as before. is it faith-based initiatives that produce and community partnerships. as a whole litany of things out there. it's been a faith office in the west wing as a director of the president of the united states. that is how elevated the united states has how importance it is the president of the united states i have to give him a huge
11:18 pm
round of thanks for putting us in that office. [applause] and i will tell you just a little bit of how it happened because i think it matters. i work for president trump all four years. in trump 45. one of the 12 people started the first and ended at the last day and i have the bruises to prove it. it was tough i never really understood with the spiritual warfare was until he worked in the trump white house. i will address that in a bit. after we left the white house we had in initiative the faith and opportunity initiative which a pastor paula white which is president trump's pastor for the last 24 years i said you cannot let this coalition go we had 32000 pastors, faith leaders, rabbis, you name it from every state from every ethnic background and denomination who all came together because of religious freedom. we drop the whole.
11:19 pm
you believe in that, we all came together on religious freedom weaker was it national advisory board and that's what we did we were out of office. we bring faith leaders are on the present very quietly just that he welcome he enjoyed it he wanted to hear from them but we did that every few months over those four years. and then last march or pastor paula and i put a plan together we went to him in mar logout that mr. president we have this planned for this office and so he read through it. we were really good at branding we said president trump's white house faith office we did good breathing rate there we took president trump out of it after put it through but he read it and said i love it and of course he put his markings on the synod to do this, at this or whatever. but here's the amazing thing i like to share with people. he did not call a bunch of advisors. he did not ask a bunch of people should we do this?
11:20 pm
in his heart, in his mind he just knew. he said yes to it so promises made, promises kept comes back into office and now we are there. we are just so grateful. but people ask us a lot what do you do all day what is a white house faith office dude you pray all day long? i wish we could that would be great i'm in a pre-throughout the day believe me we need it. we do a lot of prayer in the office i think you'd be very happy to know we've had people from every denomination come into the office and pray with us. it is been anointed with oil on the floor and on the door we do worship, we do prayer with a worship and prayer are welcome back in the white house because far too long it wasn't. faith was basically said you are not welcome here at the white house and so we have changed that. and so what we do is we make sure people of faith have a voice in their government. because for too long but the federal government come the state government the local
11:21 pm
government has been discriminating its people of faith. people celebrate that coach kennedy won a supreme court case and i love coach kennedy i'm so glad we won. but we have a problem with religious freedom when a man who just wants to silently pray and kneel on a football field has to go through eight years of litigation to go all the to the supreme court to say that he could do that. we have a problem in america.
11:22 pm

are the ones that it affects all of our houses of worship and faith leaders and so in the separation of church and state, you know a separation of church and state and i probably have a number of degrees with this new gnosis but the government cannot dictate to you what religious you can be and it is a mean you don't voice in the government so we are making sure that you have a voice in the government.
